A race change would literally be dropping your character to level 1 because the old character would be deleted. The only "hard" part of this is saving the state the character is in (such an extra bag expansion slot being automatically reapplied to the new character). Because that's all it is. Save and load. And use LastPass, you can have a different pass for each service, there is a nice manager and password generator. It can also change your passwords automatically in regular intervals for some services like gmail. And ofc gmail > anything else, features, security and they allow you to have up to 100 char passwords:-)

THX. You can do it, but you have to do it from the menu within the game and not the launcher. I got the same problem. You can change the menu language by pressing the right control key. I'm not sure about the game language, but it seems you have to wait for the beta event and have to change it ingame. Some e-mail providers automatically delete spam mail from blacklisted addresses, and for whatever reason the GW2 authentication mail falls victim to this - the mail simply won't be delivered if your e-mail account's with the wrong provider. A server change is possible but it's roughly 10-20$ in gems, so not really worth it if you just started out and didn't buy the expansions right away. If you already bought the expansions I'd wait and see if the server you're on really bothers you in terms of population etc. before dropping 10-20$ on a server transfer. 5.
