E46 cars have a huge fan base for a very good reason, they are very good cars, arguably the best the brand has ever made, all wrapped up in a timeless design. The E46 3-Series had a huge sale success, making it one of the most popular BMW models ever.The e46 is a good car…. If you have 2 spare donor cars, completely tear it down and replace every single suspension and motor part ( preferably a 4g or k series swap), and have a secondary car to reliably daily drive so that this way you can enjoy your 15 minutes every other month that your bmw runs
The E46 BMW 3 Series is one of the most beloved cars of the past 25 years. Even if I’ve had my beef with them after owning a couple, nobody can doubt the greatness of a golden-era BMW sedan. Driving the E90 325i everyday makes me realize just how much better it is for modern day-to-day driving than the E46. If you handed me the keys to both cars, if both were in perfect condition, on Again with your limited mileage and use, in good shape any 3 series will be low maintenance. If it was me I would say e46. E30 is a great project car, but if you arent looking for a project get a newer model. e36 is good too, buy one in good shape and it will be fine. But e46 still feels new and drives and looks great. 8zBe.
